All Crowcon portable portable gas detectors are certified intrinsically safe to current European and US Standards. Some models have additional approvals from other countries and regulatory bodies such as Lloyds. All detectors are dust and water resistant to a minimum of IP65.

Detective

Detective is a transportable gas detector designed primarily for applications where temporary work needs to be carried out hazardous areas. This may include maintenance within a process plant , or gas pipeline repairs.

Designed to be rugged and sturdy, Detective includes many of the features of other Crowcon portable units. In addition, several Detectives can be linked together so that an alarm on one instrument can be signalled by all the other instruments in the chain.

Detective+

Autocalibrator

Designed for use with Custodian or Triple Plus, the Autocalibrator provides an efficient means of zeroing and calibrating batches of portable instruments.

Running from Windows&trade software, Autocalibrator includes solenoid valves for connection to up to five gas cylinders and an interface unit for the instrument.

All zero and calibration routines are carried out automatically and on completion Autocalibrator logs all the data in a file unique to that instrument. This data is also available for printout.
