The TeamMaster one-piece chemical
protection suits where the respiratory protective device, helmet and
full face mask are worn inside the suit, for protection against chemicals
in solid, liquid and gaseous form.
The big Panorama visor gives largest possible field of view. Gloves
and safety boots are chemically tight attached to the suit but replaceable.
When dealing with hazardous substances,
serious personal injury or damage to property or the environment caused
by dangerous chemicals should be prevented by using TeamMaster chemical
protection suit. Such demanding work requires the appropriate equipment,
and suitable chemical protective clothing must do more than merely comply
with the relevant standards.
Problems with chemical protective
clothing experienced when combating hazardous substances are the cause
to some 80% by mechanical damage. The TeamMaster pro total encapsulation
suit was developed to meet the requirements of practical use.
To ensure a
superior degree of resistance to chemicals, emphasis was placed on its
robustness with regards to mechanical stress. This resulted in a versatile
concept for chemical protection which allows you to equip the suit for
your own individual application.

Innovative
chemical protection on account of the newly developed Himex material
Conventional materials fulfil some requirements to a high standard and
others to a lesser extent. Some are impressively lightweight and have
a high resistance to chemicals. If, however, the material is subjected
to such effects as abrasion, tearing or puncturing, the operation should
be aborted as quickly as possible to avoid material damage. If the user
tries to avoid such effects then an operation such as attaching a sealing
pad to a crashed petrol tanker can become quite an adventure. |

Other materials may perform acceptably
in the areas just mentioned, but are a burden to the wearer due to their
greater weight. Himex sets new standards in the combination of mechanical
and chemical properties.
Even in the event of darting flames,
Himex clearly proves its superiority over other materials. This makes
Himex the only material so far to be used for chemical protective clothing
which still provides effective chemical protection after being subjected
to a flame test in accordance with EN 532/ 533.
What about working at low temperatures?
Handling cyrogenic media? Material tests in accordance with DIN 53359-E
have shown Himex to retain an extremely high level of chemical resistance
even under these conditions. Himex showed none of the increasing stiffness
which occurs in other materials at temperatures as low as -40°C.
Himex was developed by Drager specially
for those who routinely work with hazardous substances. Many offer a
high level of chemical protection, but
Himex provides a combination of chemical
protection, robustness and cost-effectiveness.
