The Ex-Handy 05 is an ATEX-certified mobile phone for use in Zone 1, 2 and Zone 22, and always provides you with the necessary safety for your work. The compact housing and the integrated rubber parts provide you with a perfect grip and also deliver protection against dust and shocks in accordance with IP54 protection rating.

The Ex-Handy 05 supports all GSM 900/1800/1900 networks worldwide, so that you are flexible and can stay in touch. Besides the classic telephone functions, you can send and receive E-Mails and text messages from any location. And with predictive text input (T9), messages are quickly written.

The Ex-Handy 05 is equipped with Bluetooth® so that it can be connected to a variety of Bluetooth®-capable devices.

For instance, connect your mobile phone to a PC and synchronize your mobile’s telephone book or transfer files to your mobile phone. The integrated organizer functionality allows you to record appointments in your calendar or have your phone remind you of tasks.

In addition, Bluetooth® allows you to communicate wirelessly with PDAs. For example, you can transmit data via GPRS* (62.4 kbit/s) to a server or connect directly with your software system – and all in the ex-hazardous areas.

An integrated WAP browser (Version 2.0) provides you with fast and easy access to the mobile web.
