Filling the gap between test sieving and screening are these extremely versatile screening sieves. They are specially designed to work in conjunction with the Powermatic for small scale screening operations.

The system comprises a number of 450mm stainless steel screening sieves , a choice of individual screen sizes , locking rings and a receiver with outlet. The sieves incorporate a feed cone for directing material to the centre of the screen below and a material outlet.

The screen is inserted into the base of the sieve and clamped in place by the clamp ring. The screening sieve then nests with the one below and can be rotated to give the most convenient outlet position. Up to 5 different screening sieves may be used in the system.

The Powermatic is the ideal shaker for the system because it imparts an outward spiral movement to the material requiring separation. In its travel from the centre to the outlet undersize material falls through to the cone and the centre of the screen below. Outlets are equipped with a rim for convenient fitting of bags, tubes or chutes.

For tests that require wet sieving Endecotts offer a conversion kit suitable for the Octagon and EFL shakers. The kit includes top clamping plate with a perspex cover and spray rose, watertight seals and a stainless steel receiver with drainage spout.
