Gemu 654 Brochure
Diaphragm valve, 2/2 way, manually operated.
| Features |
Advantages |
The valve is suitable for inert, corrosive,
liquid, gaseous, highly viscous, hygienic and sterile working media
The valve is free from non ferrous metals and is corrosion resistant
The opening stroke is steplessly adjustable without using tools
Stepless minimum flow regulation possible without using tools
The valve body and diaphragm are available in all common materials
Optional flow direction and mounting position
All common connection variants (such as butt weld spiggots, clamps
and screwed connections) are available |
The valve is designed according to cGMP and complies
with FDA
The handwheel design allows minimal heat sink thus reducing the
dangers of burns injuries
The valve is easily cleanable inside and outside and has autoclave
capability as standard
The area behind the diaphragm can be aerated and deaerated according
to requirement, rinsing of the area behind the diaphragm (by a monitoring
liquid) is possible as an option
The service life of the diaphragm is increased to a maximum by the
patented seal adjuster
The design of the bonnet prevents penetration of liquid (for eg
during outside cleaning)
The bonnet is bolted to the valve body through holes. Potential
damage to the thread during service work (change of diaphragm) does
not require removing the body from the pipeline. Production down
time, time-consuming repair work, increase costs due to re-validation
and certification are therefore no longer necessary
The nominal sizes are combined in geometric groups so that only
one actuator and one diaphragm size is necessary for DN15, 20 and
25mm for example. Thus on site spares are minimized |
