The Kane Auto 4-2 is a truly portable exhaust gas analyser that sets new standards of convenience and ease of use. It weighs just 1.1 Kg, fits comfortably in the hand and can run for hours on its internal re-chargeable battery.

The Infra-red sensing system has been designed by Kane's engineering team and is unique to their products. The four line display can be backlit. Measurements are shown in real time.

With measurement accuracy to OIML Class 1 the Auto 4-2 is entirely suitable for pre-compliance testing, or engine fault diagnosis and tuning. The analyser is corrected for both atmospheric pressure and temperature changes.

The programmed re-calibration procedure allows the unit to be re-calibrated using standard automotive test gases without the need for a service engineer.

An automatic leak test is conducted on every power up.  Integral flow checking provides warning of probe blockages.
