The UK division of Krohne was founded in 1976 in Wellingborough, England. Boasting top of the range research and manufacturing facilities, the UK division has become Krohne's global centre for flow and level measurement technology.
A proud achievement of Krohne was the development of the world's first commercially available Coriolis mass flowmeter, with a single, straight tube design. In 2002, the Optimass range was launched which incorporated this development of innovation. As well as this, the Optimass range features the patented AST (adaptive sensor technology) design. This ensures that stable operation can be achieved in varying process conditions, without the need for special and expensive installation requirements.
