Easy Operation
CERMAX is extremely easy to use. The instrument is fully self-contained in a lightweight moulded carry case. No external services are required. Simply connect the sample gas to the Swagelok® inlet port, turn on the power and and within seconds CERMAX is ready to display the measured dewpoint of the sample gas under test. No special programming of electronics is needed. The advanced user interface allows you to decided whether to make a simple measurement (default mode) or to perform more complex functions, like pressure compensation, range selections, input scaling, data logging etc.
High Accuracy and Repeatability
The advanced design of the Michell Ceramic Moisture Sensor coupled with extremely competent measurement circuitry give CERMAX class leading accuracy and repeatability. With a standard measurement range from -100 to +20°C dewpoint and indication down to -120°C and up to +30°C dewpoint, CERMAX offers measurement accuracy of: +/-1°C dewpoint in the range +20 to 59°C dewpoint +/-2°C dewpoint in the range -100 to -60°C dewpoint Resolution is 0.1°C dewpoint across the entire calibarted range.
Fast Response
Users always rate a fast speed of response as a key feature of a portable hygrometer, and for obvious reasons, CERMAX has been designed particularly with this feature in mind. With an inherently fast Ceramic Moisture Sensor and a minimum volume stainless steel sample housing CERMAX has a head start on the competition. Add to this CERMAX's user selectable field operation mode which allows even ppm level measurements to be made in a few minutes and the result is a World Class hygrometer woth superior performance.
Lightweight Construction
Weighing a total of just 3Kg, CERMAX is one of the lightest portable instruments available. However this is not at the expense of robustness. The strong moulded polyurethane carry case gives the optimum combination of physical strength and low mass and is practical too, giving IP65 protection rating (NEMA 12 equivalent).
