Manufactured in rugged black Acetal plastic the Soli-Tech 10 has been designed to meet the demands placed upon a portable sensor in daily rigorous use at effluent treatment plants and in fast flowing water courses. Its 10 mm gap size optimises sample volume with response time and ease of use.
Used in conjunction with the Partech Model 740 portable suspended solids monitor, the Soli-Tech 10 Sensor provides the full range capability of the instrument, 0 to 20,000 mg/l, in a single unit. Whilst providing sensitivity down to 1 mg/l. An additional wire in the sensor cable enables automatic zero checking for ambient light immunity and the 740’s auto ranging facility. This wide operating range allows the sensor to monitor Mixed Liquor and Final Effluent Suspended Solids as well as providing a profile of the solids density in settlement tanks.
This portable combination is a highly versatile measuring instrument, allowing access to a wide range of applications without the need for multiple calibrations and sensor changes. The user can move rapidly between final effluent, mixed liquor and sludge density measurements, bringing any required process adjustments closer to real time.
