| The Mapcheck from Systech Instruments is a highly-versatile and compact instrument for measuring the concentration of oxygen in the headspace gas of flexible and rigid packages. Primary applications are Modified Atmosphere Packaged food and drink products and oxygen sensitive pharmaceutical products.
Ideal for use in production environments or development/QC laboratories, the mapcheck microprocessor controlled instrument is simple to operate and incorporates unique features, making it suitable for almost every application. Instrument programming is easy and the self diagnostics and integral flow meter help to assure the user of a valid test .Oxygen analysis is achieved using a miniature zirconia probe. This proven technique gives a very accurate, stable and repeatable oxygen reading even in harsh environments. Reliability of the probes is excellent, with a typical life of up to 20 years. The reference gas for the analyser is air. Only infrequent calibration is required and this is simple to perform.
