Watson Smith - Controlling Pressure Worldwide
TYPE 422 FAILFREEZE
ELECTRONIC CONVERTER
CURRENT TO PRESSURE (I/P)

FEATURES

 Advanced electronic control
Failfreeze operation (output pressure retained on
    power failure)
 Vibration immune
 Weatherproof

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The 422 proportional I/P converter uses advanced electronic control to achieve outstanding performance. It offers failfreeze operation in addition to conventional I/P charactersitics and its rugged construction, vibration immunity and weatherproofing make it ideal for field application.

Type 422 Failfreeze Electronic I/P Converter

CERTIFICATION

Hazardous area approvals: The 422 is available with Type NllT6 approval to BS6941 1998 or Type EEx ia llCT4 approval for intrinsically safe applications.
All instruments are tested on the Watson Smith Automatic Testing System and an individual test certificate is provided at no extra charge. Each unit is tested for linearity, hysteresis, total error, settling error, over pressure, air consumption, response time, calibration, insulation, start-up current, supply sensitivity and voltage load.
