1998 saw the establishment of Eurolec by the former managing directory of Eirelec Ltd. Eirelec Ltd had been closed down by their newly appointed owner/holding group. The formation of Eurolec included over 30 years of experience in the manufacture and design of electronic temperature and pressure instrumentation.
Today, Eurolec operate from their factory in Dundalk, Co Louth, Ireland. From here, Eurolec manufacture and design a wide array of electronic temperature and pressure instrumentation to customers both in the Irish market, as well as to a whole host of export markets including the UK, France, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Scandinavia and many more.
In 2004, Eurolec was proud to achieve the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard. This system has helped ensure that Eurolec maintain the highest standards of product quality and customer service levels.
Two years later, in January 2006, Eurolec achieved the environmental standard BS8555. This has enabled Eurolec to continue their strong effort in helping to minimise energy use and to reduce, re-use and recycle wherever possible.
Isotech are one of the world's leading manufacturers of industrial temperature calibration products. This is a huge achievement in itself, with Isotech customers requiring a diverse selection of sensors of varying size, temperature range, accuracies and type.
Calibration solutions exist for accuracies from 1degC to less than 0.001degC, temperature ranges from below 0degC to 1200degC, with products available in both handheld and bench top form. Some of the Isotech product range include Precision Temperature Indicators, Dry Block Calibrators, High Temperature Furnaces, Temperature Sensors, Liquid Baths, with supporting services, UKAS Calibration and software.
PC interfaces and software has now been introduced as standard across the Isotech product range, along with many other product enhancements and upgrades, resulting in Isotech instruments becoming better specified, easier to use and more value for money.
Many of Isotech's marketplace competitors do not have their own accredited laboratories. However, Isotech are unique in that they operate a full scale UKAS laboratory for the calibration of both Isotech instruments and also a full range of temperature equipment for our clients.
