The BW Icon is a two-year fixed life detector that will run for two months on a single charge. It includes all the features you expect from Honeywell, including simple one-button operation, IntelliflashTM, data-logging and rugged durability â it also adds Bluetooth connectivity for use with Honeywell software as well as third party integration.
Reliable
The BW Icon has 2 months of battery runtime on a 4.5-hour charge â and up to 4 months if you turn off the detector at the end of each shift. There is no daily charging, no unexpected downtime and no service required, you activate and use for two years. Bluetooth is included for ease of downloading and sending reports via the Safety Suite App.
Easy to use
The BW Icon is small, lightweight and wearable with one-button operation.
Easy to manage
The IntelliFlash green light indicates the detector is in compliance; amber light indicates the need for maintenance. The device is compatible with IntelliDoX instrument management system and Honeywell Safety Suite and also compatible with TouchConnect, using Bluetooth® for wireless configuration.
The first multi-gas detector with an icon display â for fast decisions. Honeywell BW⢠Icon is named for its display of simple icons for gas levels and device status. That means no live gas readings for workers to interpret and no time-consuming training. Instead, when there’s a gas alarm, the bell icon on the display will illuminate, along with an indicator next to the sensor in alarm, so workers can quickly clear the area.
